On September 19–20, Hörmann was invited to attend the 2026 Innovative Conference on Future Learning Spaces. Hosted in Shenzhen, the conference themed "Beautiful Spaces, Smart Education", brought together experts and scholars in the education sector, school administrators and industry practitioners from across China.
During the event, Hörmann delivered a keynote speech entitled *Future School Construction: When Buildings Themselves Become Part of Education*. It explored the profound impact of architecture on education and shared Hörmann’s door solutions for school buildings.
The vision is to close all openings in China with high-tech solutions from Hörmann.
